چکیده
Modern imaging techniques including various echocardiographic technologies have become firmly established in the practice of cardiac surgery. The method intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) is particular significance for ensuring safety patients during open heart This necessary performing reconstructive interventions on valve apparatus with initial myocardial dysfunction to assess anatomical and functional state its structures at all stages surgical treatment. Information obtained operation room using TEE allows surgeon choose optimal tactics intervention, evaluate results surgery, predict course early postoperative period. presented clinical case demonstrates capabilities use Ozaki procedure a patient congenital bicuspid aortic valve.

The role of transesophageal echocardiography during the Ross procedure.
Pulmonary autograft replacement of the aortic valve, the “Ross procedure,” involves transplantation of the native pulmonary valve into the aortic position and reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract with a cryopreserved pulmonary or aortic homograft. In any surgeon’s hands this operation is technically challenging and successful performance of the Ross procedure requires strategie...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES Ross procedure is one of the surgical procedures for correction of severe congenital aortic insufficiency. Intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography is essential for optimal surgical evaluation. Furthermore, it is able to assess the blood volume profile and the need for administration of vasoactive drugs during surgery. CASE REPORT This is a 15-year old teenage...

متن کاملEfficacy of intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography in a case of protamine shock during transcatheter aortic valve implantation
Here, we report the case of a patient who developed protamine shock during a transcatheter aortic valve implant (TAVI) procedure, which was diagnosed by intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). A 77-year-old man with symptomatic severe aortic stenosis and reduced left ventricular (LV) function underwent TAVI under general anesthesia. During the procedure, a transcatheter heart val...
